Rob van Trier (1957). Still Life with Anemones – Acrylic on Canvas
A beautiful and expressive still life by Rob van Trier, depicting a colourful bouquet of anemones arranged in a vase. The bright red, white and deep violet flowers stand out beautifully against the dark background.
Description
The painting is made with strong, confident brushstrokes and areas of thickly applied paint, a characteristic feature of the artist’s work. The fresh colours and lively composition give the painting a warm and distinctive atmosphere.
We chose this work for its bold colours and wonderfully spontaneous character. It is decorative and expressive, without feeling too formal, and would bring colour and personality to both traditional and modern interiors.
The painting is presented in the elegant gilded wooden frame shown in the photographs, with a grey-painted wooden inner fillet that complements the colours of the composition.
