A richly ornamented open-corner frame dating from circa 1880, designed in the Louis XV Revival style.

Description

Its deep, sculptural profile is decorated with elaborate rocaille, shell and foliate motifs, creating an elegant rhythm around the entire frame.

The warm gilt finish has developed a beautiful, naturally aged patina, enhancing the depth of the moulded ornaments and giving the frame a distinguished historic character. Despite its generous proportions and abundant decoration, the design remains remarkably balanced.

Ik zocht een aantal lijsten met afwijkende maten voor schilderijen die ik al heel lang in wilde lijsten. Nadat ik contact opgenomen had, vond ik precies wat ik zocht. Een andere lijst werd keurig voor mij op maat gemaakt. Aantrekkelijke prijzen en alles werd keurig verpakt thuis afgeleverd.
