Description

Freely worked brushstrokes and textured paint give this small composition depth and movement. A handwritten paper label on the reverse identifies the subject as “Dunes à Calmpthout” and “Calme du Soir.”

Selected for its expressive sky and quiet atmosphere, the painting has a presence that extends beyond its modest dimensions.

Presented in a substantial dark wooden frame with a delicate gilded inner edge. Its beautiful patina complements the landscape.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
