Description

Van Trier leaves much of her form open to interpretation, yet the pose feels immediately recognisable. The strong colour and spare composition give the work an easy, lively presence.

Colour and fluid line are central to Van Trier work, and both are present here.

We chose this work for the unexpected harmony between the modern painting and its richly carved 19th century Florentine frame. The scrolling foliage and touches of gilding bring warmth to the composition.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
