Description

Rob van Trier is a Dutch painter, born in Tilburg in 1957. His work includes portraits, landscapes and figurative compositions, often recognised by their lively colours, free brushwork and strong outlines.

We chose this painting for its balance between colour and expression. It feels joyful and contemporary without becoming overwhelming, while the dark background allows the figure to remain the clear focus.

The painting is presented in a substantial decorative wooden frame with a dark patinated finish, gilt details and a white inner border. The more traditional frame creates an attractive contrast with the modern portrait.

Ik zocht een aantal lijsten met afwijkende maten voor schilderijen die ik al heel lang in wilde lijsten. Nadat ik contact opgenomen had, vond ik precies wat ik zocht. Een andere lijst werd keurig voor mij op maat gemaakt. Aantrekkelijke prijzen en alles werd keurig verpakt thuis afgeleverd.
