A decorative vintage picture frame dating from the 1950s-1960s, made in the Louis XV or Rococo Revival style.

Description

The frame is richly decorated with scrolling leaves, shells and small floral details, arranged around a finely patterned inner border.

The warm gilded finish has developed a gentle patina, giving the frame character without diminishing its decorative presence. Its deep profile and generous ornamentation make it particularly suitable for a small portrait, still life, or classical interior scene.

Style: Louis XV / Rococo Revival, 1950s-1960s.
Materials: Wooden structure with moulded decorative ornament and a gilded finish.
Frame dimensions inside: 24.7 x 18,5 cm.
Frame dimensions outside: 35.3 x 29.3 cm.

Ik zocht een aantal lijsten met afwijkende maten voor schilderijen die ik al heel lang in wilde lijsten. Nadat ik contact opgenomen had, vond ik precies wat ik zocht. Een andere lijst werd keurig voor mij op maat gemaakt. Aantrekkelijke prijzen en alles werd keurig verpakt thuis afgeleverd.
